Garden Party Cocktail Attire
Since our wedding will be held outdoors in the Arizona heat (with plenty of fans and shade!), we encourage you to prioritize comfort and breathability.
Please remember that while we want you to stay cool, the dress code is still Cocktail Attire (no shorts, denim, or excessively casual wear, please). In short, think polished elegance in light, comfortable fabrics and colors.
We kindly ask that guests avoid wearing heavy, dark colors (black, navy, etc.) as they will absorb the heat. Please save your heavy wool suits and velvet dresses for a winter wedding!
Dress code inspiration:
For Women:
- Dresses & Pantsuits: A cocktail length dress (maxi, knee-length, tea-length, or midi), a chic jumpsuit, or elegant separates are all great choices.
- Fabrics: Light and airy fabrics like cotton, linen, chiffon, or silk blends are highly recommended to stay cool.
- Colors/Patterns: Embrace the garden theme with bright colors, pastels, or floral prints.
- Shoes: We recommend wedges, block heels, or dressy flats as the ceremony and reception will be held on grass and uneven surfaces.
For Men:
- Attire: A light-colored suit (tan, light gray, or light blue) or dress pants/chinos paired with a button-down shirt and a sports coat/blazer. Jacket and tie are optional.
- Fabrics: Choose breathable materials like linen, cotton, or seersucker to stay cool.
- Colors: Light colors are preferred to help reflect the Arizona sun .
